Response: Lostwithiel Town Council does not support this application. The Council considers that the proposal is not in accordance with National Planning Policy Framework 170e) & 180a). Cornwall Local Plan Policy 12,13 &16.1 and Lostwithiel Neighbourhood Plan Policy EH2. The Lostwithiel Neighbourhood Development Plan promotes & protects the Heritage of Lostwithiel and this property is sited within the LNP Character Zone 1 'The core of the Medieval Town.' This application was referred back to Lostwithiel Town Council under the Local Council 5 day protocol, after consultation with Town Councillors, Cornwall Council has been advised that the Town Councilís original decision stands.
