MEETINGS

The Council meets on the first Tuesday of each month in the Guildhall at 7pm. Council meetings are open to the public. There is an agenda item for Public Participation when members of the public have the opportunity to address the Council on matters relating to Lostwithiel.

The Planning Committee meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 7.00pm in the Guildhall.   The meeting is open to the public.

All other committees meet as and when necessary. All meetings are open to the public.

The Annual Meeting of the Council can take place on any date in May fixed by the Council except in an election year when it must be held between the fourth and fourteenth day after the day of the election.  The 2013 Mayor Making Ceremony will be held on Friday 31 May. 

The Annual Parish Meeting takes place in April and is a résumé of events of the past year. The Mayor and each committee chairman gives a report and members of the public are able to ask questions.

Church Services - The Civic Service is held in St Bartholomew's Church on the Sunday after the Mayor Making. The Mayor and Councillors attend the Remembrance Sunday Service in November and the Mayor lays a wreath.

Street Lights - if any street light is not working please report the location and the number on the pole to Cornwall Council.
